Tanner Road Property Owner Requests Rezoning

Dacula Planning and Zoning Commission to meet May 31 to consider request.

The owner of a nearly 12-acre tract on Tanner Road has requested his property be rezoned from single family residential to agricultural district for single family and agricultural uses.

The property owner, Ellis Lamme, plans to open a small farmer’s market on the property and occasionally host educational fairs or day camps for school-age children.

“I think it will be an asset for the City of Dacula,” Lamme said at the May 26 Dacula City Council work session.
