Barrow County fire investigators believe an electrical failure is to blame for a Sept. 18 house fire that claimed the life of an 18-month-old child.

According to Barrow County Emergency Services, the fire started in the sunroom and quickly spread due to the open layout of the home. Investigators concluded an electrical failure was the most likely cause of the blaze.
