The Gwinnett Chamber is Being Paid to Ensure Your Child Gets an Award-Winning Education

The Gwinnett Chamber is contractually obligated to “ensure that public schools continue to achieve award-winning results” in return for your tax money. How does the Gwinnett Chamber ensure your child will receive an award-winning education? You have no way of knowing, because the Gwinnett Chamber still refuses to respond to questions about what taxpayer-paid chamber employees are doing for Gwinnett County Public Schools. You just have to TRUST that the Gwinnett Chamber employees are doing what THEY think is best for your child.

If the Gwinnett Chamber could truly ensure educational superiority for Gwinnett County Public School students, it might be a good investment. However, as long as the Gwinnett Chamber refuses to answer questions, and the Gwinnett school board is using your tax dollars to fight an open records lawsuit to ensure that taxpayers never learn how their money has been spent by the Gwinnett Chamber, parents of Gwinnett County Public School students will never know what role the Gwinnett Chamber is playing in their child’s education.

If the Gwinnett Chamber is taking on the very important task of ensuring your child gets an award-winning education, and you are paying them for it, don’t you think they owe you an explanation of what they are doing?
