The students at may not be coffee drinkers yet, but they will soon benefit from their parents’ caffeine cravings thanks to Community Coffee Company.

Community Coffee area sales manager James Gunga and area salesperson Brian McGraw visited Dacula Elementary School on Tuesday, April 17, to present the school with a check for $3,449. The award was in recognition of the students’ efforts in collecting 34,490 UPC labels from Community Coffee packages as part of this year’s Community Cash for Schools program.

“We earned lots and lots of money,” Dacula Elementary principal Mary Lou Enright told the students gathered in the media center for the check presentation. Enright explained the funds will be used to create an outdoor classroom to be named the “Community Coffee Classroom.”
