Senior, Mill Creek High School
Accomplishment: Mill Creek senior football player Weston Awtry received a perfect ACT score.

Key to success: After Mill Creek High School senior Weston Awtry finished taking the ACT, he was concerned that he did not receive the score of at least 33 he needed for the scholarship he was seeking to Auburn University. When the scores finally came in, not only did Awtry do well enough for the scholarship, he scored a perfect 36 on the test. Awtry however, is not just a good test taker. He is a four-year fullback for the Hawks football team and maintains a 3.6 GPA at Mill Creek. Though he won’t be continuing his football career for the reigning national champions, Awtry said he is excited to have the chance to continue his excellent academic record at Auburn next year.
