Dacula Schools Participating in 'Great Days of Service'

Take a look at what is happening in our Dacula area schools.

Multiple Dacula area schools will participate in the Gwinnett Coalition for Health and Human Services' “Gwinnett Great Days of Service." The “Gwinnett Great Days of Service” is one of the largest volunteer programs in the United States.

This initiative assists in addressing the needs of the community as well as increasing community awareness of the agencies and organizations the Coalition represents. Last year, 500 service projects were completed by approximately 95,000 volunteers including corporations, schools, businesses, individuals and church groups.

Dacula area students can donate items such as shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, soap, toothbrushes and toothpaste through Sept 30. These items will be donated to various charities and organizations for the needy. Families interested in donating can check with their student’s school for specific days when donations will be collected.
