Education News: Kindergarten Registration Set for Class of 2024

A look at recent happenings in Dacula area schools.

Parents and guardians of children attending kindergarten in the fall of 2011, mark your calendars as the Gwinnett County Public Schools will be holding kindergarten registration on May 5 for children who turn five years of age on or before September 1, 2011.  Families of these students need to plan on visiting their local public school to register on this date.

The first day of school for these new students is scheduled for August 8, 2011.  You can check registration times for your particular school by visiting the GCPS website and viewing the “2011 Countdown for Kindergarten” section or call your local school. If you are not sure which school your upcoming kindergartener will attend, call the GCPS Planning Department at 678-301-7085.
