Pack 503 Scout Surge

As part of a National Cub Scout project, local Dacula Pack 503 will be holding a Scout Surge in remembrance of 9/11.  Beginning today, scouts will be holding a 10 day food drive to benefit the local food pantry, Lawrenceville Co-op.  The food drive will culminate with a flag ceremony and flag retirement taking place on 9/11 at 6:00pm.  There will be local military, fire, and police presence, while they are honored and the day is remembered.  The pack would like to invite the community out to honor our local servicemen and women during this time.  The event will be taking place at Trinity Christian Fellowship, located at 1985 Old Fountain Rd. 

Look for scouts in your neighborhood gathering food in the coming week.  If anyone would like to donate canned food for this service project please email: mayjenn@gmail.com to coordinate pick up.
