Transition Fair for Students with Special Needs, their Families and Educators

The Gwinnett County Public School System will hold a Transition Fair today for students with special needs, their families and educators. If you are a parent or educator of a special needs student head out to the fair where you will receive information about services and resources to help prepare students transitioning from the school system.  Meet local representatives and discuss optins available as the students trasition to post-school environment and job opportunities. 

From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. breakout sessions will be available and you can learn more about Medicaid waivers, Social Security Benefits  Estate Planning and Guardianship, Vocational Rehab, Assistive Technology, and Vocational and Community Programs.
