Georgia Gwinnett College to Waive Application Fee Oct. 14-20

GGC is waiving the fee to encourage students to get an early start on applying to college.

It's that time of year -- high school seniors across the country are beginning the college application process.

In an effort to encourage more students to get an early start on their applications, Georgia Gwinnett College is waiving the $20 application fee during the week of Oct. 14-20.

“We encourage students to apply early so they can be secure with their college plans moving into the spring of their senior year,” Tee Mitchell, director of admissions, said in a released statement. “Because of the requirement to provide certain documentation, such as high school transcripts and Compass/ACT/SAT scores, there are a lot of steps involved to the process.”

Students interested in applying to Georgia Gwinnett College may complete the application online at www.GAcollege411.org. The application deadline for the fall 2014 semester is May 1, 2014.
