Ivy Creek Elementary School has a new principal.
The Gwinnett Board of Education approved the hiring of Laura Callahan after the retirement of Yvonne Frey, the school system announced Friday.
Callahan, a former fourth-grade teacher and assistant principal at Dacula Elementary, had been the assistant principal at Freeman’s Mill ES from 2010 through the recent school year.
