This creative extravaganza was held May 22-25 on the Michigan State University campus where more than 825 teams from all around the world shared their ideas and work. While only a few left with a trophy, everyone came out a winner just by solving an Odyssey of the Mind problem and competing on the world stage.

This team chose to compete in the “Pet Project" vehicle category. Working throughout the school year, the team designed, built, and ran three vehicles (each with a unique propulsion system) that delivered parts to a designated area; designed a pet animal which was assembled from the delivered part and which later performed a “trick”; and designed and built a signal that let the audience know which vehicle was about to travel and deliver a part.   While scoring was largely based on creativity, engineering and risk-taking behind the propulsion systems, vehicle designs, pet animal and signal, the overall performance captured the attention of tournament competitors, judges, and spectators alike.

Competing for Osborne where Bailey Martinez, Ben Breer, Caroline  Littleton, Emma Beguhn, Kayleigh Taillefer-Prussak, Kyle Patel, and Richie Perry.   Coaching the team were parents Ben and Janie Martinez.
