Puckett's Mill Student Donates to Locks of Love

Fifth grade, Puckett's Mill Elementary

Accomplishment: fifth grader Emma Beguhn recently made her second donation to Locks of Love, a non-profit organization that provides hair prosthetics to children who have lost hair due to medical reasons. In January of 2010, Beguhn donated 18 inches of hair to the organization. This time, Beguhn was able to provide 10 inches of hair. Mariette of donated her time to help Beguhn with the donation.

Key to success: Beguhn's mother Christine said donating to Locks of Love makes her daughter happy. According to Christine, Beguhn is proud to make a donation that brings happiness to others and knows that while she can regrow her hair, others are not as fortunate.
