Three Gwinnett Schools to Have New Start Times

Give Center East, Give Center West and Hooper Renwick School have different hours for 2012-13 school year.

Starting and ending times for Gwinnett schools are set and revised if necessary to accommodate academic programs, scheduling, and transportation.

Three of Gwinnett County’s Public Schools will have new school times beginning with the 2012-13 year, according to GCPS. The new school times are effective on Aug. 6, the first day of school. The new hours are as follows:

  • Give Center East – Lawrenceville – 7 a.m.-1:10 p.m.
  • Give Center West – Norcross – 7 a.m.-1:10 p.m.

Gwinnett InterVention Education Centers offer an alternative program for middle and high school students.

  • Hooper Renwick School – Lawrenceville – 7 a.m.-2 p.m. The Hooper Renwick School offers special education programs.

School hours for all GCPS schools are available on the school system’s website at www.gwinnett.k12.ga.us.
