Young Flag Football Team Fired up to Learn and Have Fun
I-9 football coach Matt Larson focuses on game basics and fun.
Matt Larson coaches his I-9 flag football team with one important goal in mind: fun. The Pirates are a group of small but determined players.
“We really want the kids to get a good understanding of the game and basics of all the positions,” Larson said. “The main philosophy for the whole program is for the kids to have fun and enjoy what they are doing.”
These young players have a great overall attitude. They contribute and work hard in on every down.

“They want to learn, are fired up on every play, and will do what we ask them do even if it is not being the star,” Larson said. “The guys have come together as team and work well with each other no matter who is out on the field.”
