Freshman Volleyball Team Strives for All-Around Excellence

Head coach Kevin Peek explains why this Mill Creek team stands out from the rest.

freshman volleyball head coach Kevin Peek has been coaching high school sports for 15 years. He has coached football, basketball, baseball, softball and volleyball players. A coach with this much experience knows a good team when he sees one, and this is a team that definitely stands out.

“The volleyball players at Mill Creek have demonstrated the highest amount of character and drive for all-around excellence of any group of high school kids that I have been around,” Peek said.

Peek builds on that character and drive by teaching his players several important lessons.

In addition to developing volleyball skills and a love for the game, Peek focuses on how to handle the ups and downs of the game by teaching his players to compete and overcome difficult situations in addition to handling success.
