Hebron 10U All-Star Baseball Team Wins Big

The 10U all-stars from Hebron Baptist Church brought home the trophies from a Snellville tournament.

Champion 10U All-Star Team

Seth Blahnik, Cody Boyer, Cody Burroughs, Wyatt Fabricant, Gage Felton, Noah Giroud, Eli Hagan, Ricky Haller, Jake Haynes, Grant Kramb,  Kyle Lowrey, Dylan Noce and Jake Shirley

Accomplishment: This 10U all-star baseball team from recently won the 2011 Bases Loaded Tournament that took place in Snellville.

Key to success: Just a little over a month ago all-star baseball and softball teams were chosen from the recreational department at Hebron Baptist Church. These players have been practicing and playing in tournaments over the past few weekends in June. These athletes, who typically play church recreation ball, raised their game to a new level and not only competed with but won a tournament against teams from much larger programs with much more experience.

Here is what Rachel Noce, mother of Dylan Noce, had to say about their experience:
'Just a little church team from Dacula.' These were words we heard over and over as we competed in tournaments the last few weeks. Sometimes these words were laced with doubt about our competitive level and other times they were spoken in surprise at our abilities and accomplishments. Some may have underestimated our boys, but with hearts full of love for God and for baseball, they played to their greatest potential and showed everyone that a little church team from Dacula can win!!!!
