Hebron Cheerleader Excels As an Athlete and Student

varsity cheerleader Ansleigh Davies works hard to excel both as an athlete and as a scholar. Her cheerleading coach, Linsey Shoppe, says that Davies always goes above and beyond.

“Whether it means she stays after and works, or works during a water break, she is always willing to do whatever position I ask," Shoppe said.

Davies' devotion has helped her develop her skills as an athlete, and her attitude is a great example to rising cheerleaders.

“All her hard work has paid off,” Shoppe said. “She continues to add new tumbling skills because of her dedication and hard work. She is a positive role model for all the girls. She is an honor to coach.”

Academically, Davies is committed to studying hard and putting the time in to make good grades. She has all As with her lowest grade being a 97.

Team: Hebron Varsity Competition Cheerleading

Achievement:  Competition cheerleaders qualified for state sectionals and came in 15th out of 30 teams.
