Mill Creek Grad Part of Yellow Jackets' 'Iron Five'
Ron Wamer joined Tech basketball as a non-scholarship player in the fall of 2012.
A former Mill Creek High School basketball player has a key role in the Georgia Tech men's basketball program.
Ron Wamer, Mill Creek's second all-time leading scorer, is part of the Yellow Jackets' "Iron Five" scout team.
The scout team helps the Jackets prepare by emulating opponents.
Wamer, a walk-on, wants to be a pilot according to the Georgia Tech article. He currently participates in Tech's ROTC program.
