Five boys and five girls from the lacrosse program were honored last week as part of Gwinnett’s All-County Lacrosse Team.
This year was the first year the lacrosse teams competed as part of the Georgia High School Association. The boys finished the season with a 12-6 record, while the girls ended their inaugural GHSA season at 16-2.
Mill Creek boys honored as part of the all-county team included: Derek Stanley (defender, first team all-county), Nick Kozlowski (midfielder, second team all-county), Tyler Kemp (defender, second team all-county), Alex Schneider (goalie, second team all-county) and David Bryan (honorable mention).

The all-county girls’ team included the following Mill Creek players: Kelly Skoglund (attacker, first team all-county), Alexis Ordini (attacker, second team all-county), Erin Miller (defender, second team all-county), Mckenzie Fagioli (honorable mention) and Breanna Buckley (honorable mention).
