Racing Team Featuring Dacula Driver Reclaims Points Lead
Magnus Racing now has 13-point lead going into the last race of the season.
A Dacula race car driver helped his team recapture the points lead in the GT class last week in Monterrey, Calif.
Andy Lally of Dacula and John Potter of Salt Lake City, Utah, paired up to drive the Magnus Racing No. 44 Porsche 911 to its first 2013 win in the series and its first win of the GRAND-AM Rolex Sports Car series season according to Motorsport.com.
Potter praised Lally after the race.
“Everything just came together perfectly and it's because of the incredibly hard work that the entire team has put in to this. Great strategy, perfect pit stops and a great drive by Andy just made for an outstanding day," Potter told Motorsports.com.
