Shining a Light on MC Volleyball’s Hidden Star

Ashley Isaac is first on the team in overall kills, and leads the team in aces.

This week’s female athlete of the week is Ashley Isaac. Isaac plays outside hitter for the varsity volleyball team.

Brian Williamson has coached Isaac for the past three years.

“She is a great player to coach," Williamson said. "We have a great team/unit this year and Ashley is a huge part of that.”

Isaac is a second year starter. She is first on the team in overall kills and leads the team in aces. These stats along with her attitude make her a very valuable player.

”Ashley is a great player and a hard worker,” Williamson said. “She is very strong physically and very determined. She is a very coachable player, and is a joy to have on the team.”

20 aces, serving percentage 80 percent, 68 kills, hitting percentage .339

Upcoming Games:

Aug. 30 at Dacula High School. - Duluth at 6 p.m. and Dacula at 7 p.m.

Sept. 6 at Mill Creek – Greater Atlanta Christian at 5 p.m. and Norcross at 7 pm.
