Around 60,000 participants are expected to take part in the annual AJC Peachtree Road Race on the Fourth of July.

The 10-kilometer race is one of the summer's defining moments for metro Atlantans who trek down Peachtree Road to stay in shape, gather with family and friends, or simply earn the commemorative T-shirts.

According to this handy database on Peachtree runners posted on ajc.com, it's clear Gwinnett County will be well-represented.

The zip codes of 30043 and 30044 (Lawrenceville), 30024 (Suwanee), 30047 (Lilburn) and 30019 (Dacula) have the most registered runners from Gwinnett County, each accounting for around 1 percent or more of the entire field.

According to the Peachtree Road Race media guide, 93 percent of the runners are from Georgia, and 21 percent are first-timers.
