Stand up for Accountability

Elected are servants, not the privileged!

"The essence of Government is power; and power, lodged as it must be in human hands, will ever be liable to abuse." -- James Madison, speech in the Virginia constitutional convention, Dec. 2, 1829

Citizens, open your eyes to recognize and acknowledge those that abuse the power of elected office in local, state and federal governments. The abuses can be measured by the amount of power an elected has within their grasp or collectively. Without accountability the abuse becomes tyrannical. Those who should be represented, if caught breaking the same laws, would without doubt, be found guilty, possibly incarcerated and restitution plus demanded from them. Should the elected not be held to at least the same standard? Stand up for accountability and question all the wrong you see for until it is discerned and charged, you are an enabler to the abuser(s).

Hey Chief its i before e, before you criticize the president who got bin laden learn to spell! By the way it is not Obama's fault you are out of work or can't find work. Remember your new found republican mantra "government doesn't create jobs".

HEY! How about you please take into consideration that 4 MER DUMB DEM was of the democrat thinking at some point. That alone may explain a lack of education and spelling issues. I would however love to hear you explain why Obama is not to blame for a consistent unemployment rate after 3.5 years. Oh and it's bin Laden and Obama was no where near Pakistan when our MILITARY whacked him.

Really, my spelling is all you have? I am quite convinced that when we depose this Community Organizing Communist the business community will respond Vigorously. I am a registered Independant who voted for Carter & Clinton, I voted for McCain knowing we needed a strong Military type. My "Mantra" if one is in need of such, would sound like this: I need a Strong Leader who does not bow or apologize to Murderous Sodomizing Terrorists.

Formersmart- Maybe you should ask Mr. Ramey, a former marine, if obama can take credit for bin laden, or if it's a TEAM EFFORT on the part of not only our MIlitary, but presidents combined. Bush set everything into play (intelligence, HomeLand Security, ect..) that led up to it. To his credit, obama did elect to keep those policies in place. In my opinion, the difference between to two men is that when Bush talked about it he said WE got him. When the hollywood-type- can-do- no-wrong current president talks about it, you'd think he went in there by himself. Al Quaida is still alive and well. Bl was one man. Had we waited to share the infomation with the world, we could have had years of intelligence at our fingertips and wiped out a large portion of those operatives. R and 4Mer- good posts. Btw....4Mer, obam has proposed to give a billion "bailout" to the muslim brotherhood (great reward for killing our people and burning our flag) Swell.
