"The essence of Government is power; and power, lodged as it must be in human hands, will ever be liable to abuse."Β -- James Madison, speech in the Virginia constitutional convention, Dec. 2, 1829
Citizens, open your eyes to recognize and acknowledge those that abuse the power of elected office in local, state and federal governments. The abuses can be measured by the amount of power an elected has within their grasp or collectively. Without accountability the abuse becomes tyrannical. Those who should be represented, if caught breaking the same laws, would without doubt, be found guilty, possibly incarcerated and restitution plus demanded from them. Should the elected not be held to at least the same standard? Stand up for accountability and question all the wrong you see for until it is discerned and charged, you are an enabler to the abuser(s).
