When It Comes To Health, Your Attitude Is Critical For Success!

If you think your health is a function mostly of the genes you inherited, you would be incorrect.

What I have found is that too many people take their health for granted.  If they are overweight, tired, and sore, they just believe that it is in their inherited genes and/or just a function of hard work and getting older.  At our studio, we hold classes to help educate our client family and friends on how to take charge of their health.  It really is all about living a healthy lifestyle, not what your parents or grandparents “did to you” based on genetics.  Unfortunately, people tend to accept how they feel and look based on “what feels and tastes good now”.

Sometimes, what happens to your health is really out of your hands. We have a special client who was in a terrible auto accident 12 years ago. Kim almost died, and has lived the past years learning how to cope with a body that needs a wheel or power chair to get around. She sees others ignore their health, wishing that she could have a "working body" to start over. However, Kim has maintained an extremely positive attitude with the intent of always working hard to make improvements to her body, no matter how small. For this mission, she has been relentless.

Kim’s mom brings her to our studio to work on our Power Plate, whole body vibration equipment. The Power Plate is a certified medical device as well as a tremendous piece of exercise equipment. She has been coming faithfully, once per week for almost one year. The improvement we have seen has been exciting to watch. She has gotten substantially stronger with surprisingly better balance, as we have increased the intensity of the exercises. She is always pushing for more and works very hard. She is our very favorite and special client. And she is great example for us on how ATTITUDE can create such an important positive result in the area of health. I just wish more people would be as inspired as Kim to do what they can to be a positive role model for others in all areas of life, including their health. Thanks, Kim
