Church Group Hosting Bunko Fundraiser

Dacula residents can have fun while supporting a great cause.

The Bridge Community Church Women’s Ministry, known as "Tapestry - Weaving the Hearts of Women," is hosting a Bunko fundraiser event to benefit the Children’s Village at Christian City. This special event will take place on Friday, Aug. 26 at The Bridge Community Church located at 2026 Braselton Highway in Buford.

This night of Bunko fun will include a “Trash to Treasure” silent auction and vendor fair beginning at 6 p.m., a free dinner for those playing Bunko from 6:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. with Bunko play beginning at 8 p.m. Bunko prizes will be awarded throughout the evening. These prizes have been donated to the event by various local businesses. Childcare is available by reservation for children under the age of 10 for a fee of $3 and will include games and crafts. Dacula residents and their family and friends are invited to participate in this fundraiser. The cost is a minimum donation of $4 per person and advanced registration is recommended. All proceeds and donations received from this event (excluding the $3 childcare fee) will be given to the Children’s Village at Christian City.

The Christian City organization is a non-denominational, non-profit organization that ministers to families focusing on the needs of abandoned and abused children, the elderly and the ill. This organization provides residential, health and social services to those in need. Christian City is located at 7300 Lester Road in Union City, Georgia.
