Harbins Student Donates to Locks of Love

Six-year-old Belle Stewart wants to help those with cancer.

Accomplishment: first grader Belle Stewart recently donated 10.5 inches of hair to Locks of Love, a non-profit organization that provides hair prosthetics to children who have lost hair due to medical reasons. The donation was Stewart's second.

Key to success: Stewart's mother Melinda describes Belle as a very compassionate child. "Helping is important to her," Melinda said. According to Melinda, Belle knows that she "helps people with cancer who need hair."
