HMUMC Hosting 5K Fun Run/Walk to Benefit CURE Childhood Cance and The Pantry

Hamilton Mill United Methodist Church will be holding their 7th Annual 5k Fun Run/Walk this Saturday, May 14.

This weekend there will be a great opportunity for people in our community to get some much needed physical exercise while benefiting a great cause during the 7th Annual 5K Fun Run/Walk sponsored by of Dacula.  The Fun Run/Walk will take place on Saturday, May 14 at 8 a.m. at .

One of the beneficiaries of this year's run is CURE Childhood Cancer and the . CURE Childhood Cancer is dedicated to conquering childhood cancer through research, education and support of patients and their families.

According to Hamilton Mill United Methodist Church, CURE was established in 1975 as a grass-roots organization. CURE has focused its efforts on improving the care, quality of life and survival rate of children with cancer. It has also been instrumental in raising millions of dollars to fund cutting edge cancer research to fight cancer and help cancer patients.  You can learn more about CURE by visiting www.curechildhoodcancer.org.
 
The race will also benefit Hamilton Mill United Methodists’ which fights hunger by meeting the needs of struggling families in our community.
