'Bark for Life' Fundraiser This Saturday at Rabbit Hill Park
The event honors the care-giving qualities of canine companions and cancer survivors.
Help support the American Cancer Society's efforts to end cancer by participating in this weekend's "Bark for Life" fundraiser at Rabbit Hill Park in Dacula.
Registration begins at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 19, followed by an opening ceremony and blessing of the animals at 10 a.m. The 1-mile walk will start at 10:15 a.m.
From 10 a.m. until 2 p.m., participants can enjoy exhibitions, shopping, children's activities, demonstrations, a dog treat bake off and more.
Registration is $25 per dog/owner pair or per person.
