Amy's has changed the "open" hours since this was posted - still a GREAT little place.

Have you tried this place? If not, you are missing out on one of the best breakfast places in this county. This is breakfast cooked by folks who know how to cook it.
Biscuits that are perfect, not to bready. They are made with the right combination of shortening and flour, crispy on the outside but not to heavy on the inside. The eggs are cooked perfectly. The fried chicken for me is the bomb. Chicken breast breaded lightly and fried like your grandmother did it, or at least should have done it. Many other breakfast meats are available and are equally appetizing. Sausage, bacon, county ham, yes country ham, not the kind Hormel makes in a can. The price for this breakfast feast of flavors? Down right fair. Compared to the quality of the food, the price is cheap.
Add, Amy Lefaye's to your to do list but don't blame me if you get addicted and have to go at least once a week like I do. Now all I have to do, is convince my doctor that fried chicken and eggs are therapeutic.
