Have you tried Del Rio 's Brunch ?? since they have brunch on Sundays , I invite my friends and family to Del Rio instead of my house. complete breakfast , good variety of food for lunch and also delicious dessert, with that price I cannot even feed them for breakfast. Just try it once, you will love it.

Best food around! Menu item - Quesadilla across the border - it's man food that's awsome! Best of all place is very clean and staff is friendly and fast. My server, Sonia, was awesome. She kept my tea filled ( which is important when eating spicy food )! I'll be back for sure! They just added some new dishes that are very good.... I think, is excellent!

This is the BEST Mexican restaurant in Gwinnett by far! My husband and I drive 20 minutes to eat here and pass 3 other Mexican restaurants. The food is always fresh, great salsa and chips ( very fresh ). Superb Margaritas, best I've had ANYWHERE! They don't taste or look like lime colored shaving cream like some other places. The staff is super friendly and always willing to accommodate your requests. Some of our favorites are the burgers, Fajita nachos, Tacos El Pastor and Mayan shrimp just to name a few...it's all good though! They have some great entertainment and you can sit close or on the "other side" if you aren't into the band experince and want a little more intimate atmosphere. Great family laid back place to hangout with family or friends. Not too many places really care anymore and at Del Rio the manager will personally come around and see if everything is okay and he actually cares what you say too! You won't regret going to this place. I rarely take time to write a review for a restaurant but I think this place is outstanding and you will not be dissapointed!!

As customers since Del Rio first opened, it is our favorite Mexican restaurant and one of a few go-to places for live music, watching a game, or meeting for drinks. Easily there twice a week, I can say food is consistently great and that menu items are updated and added regularly, service is cordial and attentive, and management is professional and efficient while at the same time gracious and responsive. As a result of such great service and reliability, Del Rio has developed into a traditional "neighborhood hangout" in our area where regular customers come for the definite sense of community that owners Jerry, Judy, and manager Alberto have achieved.

Del Rio is a great family restaraunt. They have a diverse menu and plenty of TV's to watch the Games. Alberto could not be a better manager. He is firendly and accomodating. I always judge a restaraunt by the parking lot. Theirs is slammed every weekend and most week nights. Come see for yourself, you wont regret it.

Del Rio is our favorite Mexican Restaurant in town! Always great service, great music, and great food! We love the BBQ chicken nachos and the fish tacos are amazing! The staff is always friendly and attentive and what a great family atmosphere! If you haven't had a chance to try them out or if it's been a while since you visited, come on out and enjoy a great meal, entertainment and family fun.

My family and I have been eating here since they opened, the food is always great and the service is impeccable. My kids enjoy the game room and family atmosphere as much as we do, and you can't beat the entertainment on the weekends. Over the past 2 years I have been using Alberto and Del Rio to cater all of my office functions, they have out performed other large establishments every time, and catered to my needs and company's budget, with out skimping. If you have a chance try them out and look for Alberto he will be the one with the welcoming smile checking on all of his customers.

Del Rio is our favorite local restaurant! Berto and staff make you feel like family. We always bring family and friends there and they always want to go back! Great food and awesome drinks! Definitely a favorite of ours!

I agree with Mr Ritter, Del Rio is a terrific place, great service and they take pride in their food & service. I have asked for someting special as well and they always honor my request. Alberto is very responsive to any requests that I have asked of him or his wait staff. Great place, great food, and a good time. It is my favorite local place and I will refer all my friends there.

There is not a better restaurant in Gwinnett County than Del Rio! You are treated like family when you walk in! They will make your food or drinks any way you ask! If you want it spicey, they will do it. If you want something special, they will comply. Their food in authentic Mexican.....Great seafood and chicken dishes. If you ever have a problem with food or service any of the staff will take care of it immediatley. Berto the manager is always there and willing to help. Lalo, the bartender, will make any drink and exactly how you request. Enjoy!

It's a hit or miss. Food can be bad or good, you never know. Service has alot to be desired. Last time I went service was horrilbe. Sat at my table for 10 min AFTER I had gone to the front to ask where my server was. Food was good. Time before that food was horrible and service was good. Just luck of the draw.

Nope, prefer the joint in front of Wal-Mart. Much better service, not hit or miss on the meals & cleanliness not an issue.
A positive note: MUCH better than Fernando's.....uggghhhh!

1- good food
2- good price
3- nice and beautiful rest.
4- friendly servers who talk English thank GOD .
5-every time we go , there is something new going on . we have fun there.

It's OK. Is like a lottery; you never know if you will get a good or a bad dish. Many times the food, like chicken soup, is cold. Their service is not bad but the restaurant has some "hygienic issues". And they need to learn the difference between lime and "yellow Lemon". We always order club soda with yellow lemon but haven't get it right ever.
