The District Manager, Scott Calcagno, that cooks here a couple of times a week is AWESOME!! He makes the best food & I love how the hashbrowns always come out squared!

Jimmy - I'll try that next time. I usually stick with scattered and smothered, but country sounds good! Maybe I'll go scattered, smothered and country.

Has anyone tried the Texas biscuits and gravy? I stuck with my standard waffle and grits this morning (delicious as always), but I do love good biscuits and gravy.

Kristi, The Texas biscuits and gravy are good but the biscuits are not Cracker Barrel biscuits. If you haven't already done so, try your hashbrowns "country" which is hashbrowns with country gravy over them. Hashbrowns fixed this way will make your tongue beat your brains out. Hashbrowns at Waffle House fixed this way is sho'nuff good.

Best Waffle House Restaurant this side of the Mississippi. Sandra and I ate there this (04/16) morning. Their country ham is out of this world. The staff is second to none.

My wife and I eat there all the time, had lunch there today (04/16/11)! Never disappointed!

My favorite WH meal: Chop Steak Dinner with salad, texas toast and hashbrowns.
