The Hebron Baptist Church Missions Ministry will host its annual BBQ on Saturday, May 25 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the corner of Fence and Dacula Roads.
Trash pickups not affected.
All county offices, excluding those necessary for the comfort and safety of Gwinnett County citizens, will be closed on Monday, May 27, in observance of the Memorial Day holiday. Trash and recycling pickup will not be affected. Haulers will follow their normal schedules and hauler call centers will be open. Visit www.sustainablegwinnett.com to locate hauler contact information. The Gwinnett County Solid Waste and Recycling Call Center will be closed. County offices will resume regular business hours on Tuesday, May 28.
The park is open sunrise until sunset unless otherwise posted.
The new dog park at Harbins Park in Dacula opened Friday, May 24. The dog park is part of the 1,290-acre recreational facility located at 2995 Luke Edwards Road in Dacula. In addition to the dog park, Harbins Park also features a playground, pavilion, restrooms, grills, football/multi-purpose field, equestrian trailer parking, 4.3-mile paved multi-purpose trail, 7-mile equestrian trail, 14-mile mountain biking trail, and a 4.5-mile hiking trail.
