In addition to offering childcare during normal business hours, The Goddard School also offers after school enrichment programs as well as summer camps. The Goddard School provides after-school programs for Fort Daniel, Dacula, Freeman's Mill, Puckett's Mill, Mulberry and Hebron Elementary Schools.
Dacula Middle School

Dacula Middle School is located on the site of the area's first school house -- a two-story wooden building built inMore 1892. The middle school grades were housed with other grades until 1979 when Dacula Middle School was created. Since that time, the campus has expanded with the addition of a media center, additional classrooms and a gymnasium. The most recent addition, a four-story building completed in 2004, allowed all of the school's students to once again be housed under the same roof after eight years of reliance on portable classrooms.

Dacula Middle School was one of the schools profoundly affected by the rapid growth in the area which began in 1997. By 2003, Dacula Middle School had approximately 3,000 students. To accommodate the large student population, more than 100 portable classrooms were moved to a field behind the school. The area became known as "Falcon Village."

Despite these challenges, the school received the Georgia School of Excellence Award in recognition of the school's high academic achievement and has also been recognized for greatest gains in student
achievement as measured by the CRCT (Criterion Referenced Competency Tests).

Osborne Middle School

Osborne Middle School (OMS) is named for former Gwinnett County school principal and teacher Frank Newton Osborne.More Osborne, the county's first truancy officer, is remembered for his efforts to keep area children in school and for orchestrating community support for those in need.

OMS students consistently perform well in academic assessments, according to school principal John Campbell. Currently, OMS is the top-ranked school in the state in the eighth grade writing assessment. The school also ranks in the top 10 in eighth grade math, science, and social studies; seventh grade math, and social studies; and sixth grade science and social studies, as determined by CRCT scores.

The Osborne Middle School mascot is the hawk. The school colors are cardinal, gold and navy.

Dacula High School

The Meliora School for Early Learning provides care for infants and age-appropriate pre-school instruction. SomeMore types of activities and lessons include reading, math, physical play, music, science and creative arts. The school also offers tap, ballet and soccer programs.
Duncan Creek Elementary School

Since opening its doors in 2003, Duncan Creek Elementary School has added 30 classrooms to accommodate the rapidMore growth of the surrounding community.

Though this growth has presented challenges, student achievement at Duncan Creek remains high. School principal Debbie Chavannes credits the "phenomenal" support of the parents and the community with the school's success.

The mission of Duncan Creek Elementary School is "to provide a safe, nurturing environment of academic excellence, which will encourage children to become life-long learners and responsible citizens in a global community."

Duncan Creek Elementary school colors are red and khaki. The school mascot is the cardinal.

Mulberry Elementary School

Mulberry Elementary School opened its doors in 2007. Since that time, Mulberry students have made tremendous gains inMore literacy and math achievement. In 2010, the school received the Governor's Office of Student Achievement bronze award for highest achievement on the statewide CRCT (Criterion-Referenced Competency Tests). According to Principal Vivian Stranahan, Mulberry Elementary students are "learning and learning at a high level." Mulberry Elementary School's colors are hunter green, red and gold. The school mascot is a meerkat.
Alcova Elementary School

The motto of Alcova Elementary School is "Learning Together Every Day." Administrators and faculty place a strongMore emphasis on maintaining high standards for students. The K-5 elementary school was named in honor of the original Alcova School, a two-room schoolhouse that housed two teachers and 84 students.
