Snowpocalypse 2011 tops this week’s news.

Snow, snow, snow. That’s just about all anyone discussed this week and rightfully so.  To get so much snow in Dacula is unusual enough, to have it stay on the ground for so many days afterwards is almost unheard of in our area. Snowpocalypse 2011 may be our top story this week, but there were some other interesting stories: 1.     Georgia Gets a New Governor This week’s winter storm may have severely curtailed non-essential inaugural activities, but the swearing-in of Nathan Deal as Georgia’s 82nd governor went off without a hitch. Gov. Deal outlined several critical issues facing the state in his inaugural address. While these issues should be of concern to all Georgians, a more positive message from Monday’s inauguration is the reminder …
