ATV Stolen off of Trailer Parked in Front of Home

Theft occurred during the overnight hours of Jan. 6.

A Dacula man is now without an all-terrain vehicle after a thief or thieves struck in the middle of the night. According to the man, his ATV was parked on a trailer in front of his Brooks Road home. During the overnight hours of Jan. 6., a thief or thieves cut the straps securing the ATV to the trailer and rolled the vehicle off the trailer. There are no known witnesses or suspects. The ATV, a 1996 red Polaris, has an estimated value of $1,000. The man was unable to provide police with the vehicle identification number at the time of the report which prevented the officer from being able to list the vehicle as stolen in the state database. Two ATVs Stolen in Hamilton Mill

Vehicles were on trailer parked on street next to victim’s home.

Gwinnett County Police are investigating the theft of two all terrain vehicles (ATVs) at a Hamilton Mill residence. The owner of the ATVs said both vehicles were on a trailer that was parked in the cul-du-sac where his Cambridge Hill Court home is located. The trailer, which the owner said was new and still displayed a drive out tag, was also loaded with two gas cans. According to the police report, the theft is believed to have occurred between 2 p.m. and 3:15 p.m. on June 15. There are no known witnesses. The case is listed as active. Police are also investigating several new reports of entering auto including a June 15 incident on McMillan Road.
