Masked Man Robs Hamilton Mill Road Chevron

Armed suspect flees with approximately $4,500 in cash.

Gwinnett County Police are searching for a suspect who robbed the Chevron, located at 2800 Hamilton Mill Road, on Oct. 26. According to police, the clerk was in the process of closing the store for the night when a masked man armed with a semi-automatic pistol entered the business. The suspect demanded that the clerk empty the register and place the contents in a Publix shopping bag. After the clerk complied, the suspect reportedly ordered him to lift the drawer to verify no money remained in the register. After the suspect fled the business on foot, the clerk called 911.
