No suspicious activity found. Students were dismissed on schedule.
Dacula Elementary School was on lockdown for a short period Tuesday afternoon after teachers who were outside thought they heard gunshots. Gwinnett County Public Schools Director of Media Relations Jorge Quintana said the school was locked down for about half an hour. "The SRO looked into it and no suspicious activity was found," Quintana wrote in an email to Dacula Patch. Students were dismissed at the normal time.
