Outstanding Youth of Dacula

Dacula Student Part of Patriotic Women's Service Group

Morgan Lundy of Dacula was one of 98 women who recently attended the 65th American Legion Auxiliary Girls Nation in Washington, D.C.

The American Legion Auxiliary is the largest patriotic women’s service organization in the world. This organization has local Auxiliary units across communities nationwide serving veterans, their families and their communities through various outreach programs. This year, Morgan Lundy of Dacula High School was selected to attend the Georgia Girls State conference held at Georgia Southern University. Lundy was selected from 298 girls who attended the event to serve as one of the two State Senators to represent Georgia at the American Legion Auxiliary Girls Nation event in Washington, D.C. Outstanding Youth of Dacula

Dacula Youth Witness to People of the Dominican Republic

Middle school, high school and college age youth from Dacula joined forces to reach people in the Dominican Republic.

Hebron Baptist Church Dominican Republic Mission Team Middle School Students: Andrew Carmony and Jena Killian High School Students: Megan John, Cori Carmony, Abby Benito, Hannah Smith, Becca Long, Lindsay Long, Maggie Frost, Kevin Bailey, Jackson Moody, Rachel Moore, Christopher Reese, Priscilla Holland and Sadie Glaskow College Youth: Blair Frost, Rachel Cheatham, Bryson Turner, Lauren Atkins, Chris Butts, Nick Wolfe, Ronnie Melin, JoAnna Davis, Khaliah Shaw, Shannon Young, Lydia Holland and Jillian Long. Outstanding Youth of Dacula

Dacula Brothers Play in USSSA World Series

Parker and Cole Wroble, two Dacula brothers, and their respective baseball teams competed in World Series tournaments over the summer.

Cole and Parker Wroble 12U GA Select Navy and the 10U GA Select Travel Teams Accomplishment(s): Cole Wroble and the 12U GA Select Navy travel baseball team recently finished as runner-up in their bracket of the World Series held in Gulf Shores, Ala. The team traveled to Gulf Shores on July 20 to compete. Cole played catcher for the 12U team and is known for being a power hitter. Parker Wroble and his 10U GA Select baseball team maintained a ranking in the top 10 for this past spring and summer season. This team’s hard work and determination paid off as they qualified for the USSSA World Series in Kingsport, Tenn. In July, the team traveled to Kingsport to compete and ended their season with a third place finish. Parker was the team’s …
