A stainless Taurus semi-automatic .45 caliber handgun was reported missing in a home burglary on Nov. 15 in the 80 block of East Park Street in Buford. The victim told police he believes the suspect(s) may have been looking for his ex-roommate. A Gwinnett County police report indicates that the victim had previously "kicked out his roommate for selling drugs and bringing them into the residence." Read more on Buford Patch. Surveillance images of a suspect wanted in connection with the Nov. 11 armed robbery of the BP gas station on Hamilton Mill Road in Dacula have been released. The suspect is described as a white male, age 19 to 25 years old and approximately 5-foot-10 to 6-foot-1 tall and weighing around 170 to 190 pounds. According to a press release from the Gwinnett County Police Department, the suspect had dirty or greasy hands that were described as "like a mechanic's." Anyone with information as to the identity or possible whereabouts of the suspect is asked to contact the GCPD Robbery Unit detectives at 770-513-5300.
