Former CIA Officer Claims He Has Seen Proof of Roswell Cover-Up, More Local Sightings Reported
Chase Brandon, a 35-year CIA veteran, said the craft later identified as a weather balloon did not come from this planet. Several local residents have also claimed to have seen proof of extra-terrestrial flying crafts.
On July 8, 1945, the Roswell Daily Record captured the world's attention with the headline "RAAF Captures Flying Saucer On Ranch in Roswell Region." The article began, "The intelligence office of the 509th Bombardment group at Roswell Army Air Field announced at noon today, that the field has come into possession of a flying saucer." That spectacular disclosure was refuted the following day when officials said the object was not a flying saucer, but simply a weather balloon. That claim has been the center of controversy for 65 years and is one a former employee of the Central Intelligence Agency says is false.
