Kasie Amrine Bolling
Kasie has called North Georgia “home” for more than 35 years. Raised in Roswell as a small child, her family moved to the “mean streets” of Dunwoody where she happily remained until she received her letter of acceptance from the University of Georgia. After four fun-filled and highly educational years in the city of Athens, Kasie found her true calling as a writer at UGA’s School of Journalism – along with a really cute boy from the School of Psychology next door who she would soon call husband. The two made their homes in Norcross and Sugar Hill before finding their way to Braselton. Proud parents to two daughters who attend schools in Hoschton’s Mill Creek cluster, the Bollings can be found in pursuit of adventure in the surrounding municipalities of Dacula, Buford, Flowery Branch, Gainesville, Winder, Suwanee, and beyond. They have even been known to make the occasional trek into the big city of Atlanta.
To say that Kasie is passionate about her work would be an understatement. Her feature articles have graced the pages of Atlanta Parent Magazine, Remodel Atlanta Magazine, Legacy on Lanier Magazine, Hall County Magazine, Accent Gwinnett Magazine, NC Living Magazine, My Bella Weddings Guide, and more. She serves as the Atlanta Staycation Examiner for Examiner.com, and owns her own freelance copywriting business – aptly titled “Out of Her Mind.” She is honored to contribute to Patch.com, and welcomes the opportunity to learn more about the people and places that make up her local community and share what she learns with Patch readers.
