Fundraiser Set for Dacula Teen Struck by Car

A date has been set for a carnival to help raise funds for a local teen who was struck by a car while riding his bike near his Harbins home in June. Elijah Etheridge, 13, of Dacula was struck by a car while riding his bike out of his Harbins neighbood. He sustained head injuries and a fractured skull along with other broken bones after being struck and spending nearly 2 weeks in ICU, according to the website goelijah.com. He is currently home and undergoing rehab treatment daily in Atlanta. A carnival will be taking place next Saturday, July 27th from 10-4pm. This will be located at Heartsland off Luke Edwards Rd. in Harbins. In addition to the carnival, there will be a concert, Chick-fil-A lunch, games, and more! You can purchase tickets to the fundraiser today for as low as $10 by visiting www.goelijah.com/carnival/. Please come and support the Etheridge family on Saturday, July 27th.
